AIOSnode / How to operate

Owner operation

Run the Node without turning us into your IT department.

The operating model is built for the owner, office manager, administrator, clerk, department lead or IT person who already runs the organization.

Day-to-day operating map

The owner controls the things that change.

The shared Core stays underneath. Your people manage organization-specific content, users, sources, apps, workflows, AI providers, integrations and evidence.

People & authority

Add and remove users, assign roles, define who may approve consequential actions and keep machine authority narrower than human authority.

Knowledge & sources

Add organization material, maintain source connections, review stale-source alerts, preserve versions and decide when changed policy should rebind.

Services & forms

Update public services, intake requirements, forms, routing, reminders and customer/constituent-facing information.

Apps & workflows

Enable or retire tools, adjust operating workflows, manage work queues and keep organization-specific automation bounded to the intended process.

AI & assistants

Choose approved providers or customer-hosted models, manage provider credentials, update assistant context and preserve human approval where required.

Integrations

Maintain the systems AIOSnode works alongside, replaces or connects to. Broken integrations should surface clearly instead of silently failing.

Owner routine

A practical operating rhythm.

AIOSnode should tell the owner what needs attention instead of requiring constant technical inspection.

01

Check the attention queue

Look for broken connectors, stale authoritative sources, policy changes, failed workflows, accessibility failures, pending approvals or unresolved incidents.

02

Review changes before they become operating truth

New source material, policy changes and consequential configuration changes should be reviewed before activation or rebinding.

03

Operate the work

Staff use the configured services, apps, assistants, forms and workflows. Routine activity produces records and receipts where the workflow calls for them.

04

Verify important outcomes

For consequential automation, the system records what was requested, what authority was used, what executed and what result was observed.

05

Back up and export

Keep current backups and periodically verify the owner can export the configuration, records, evidence and operating package without contacting us.

For the IT person

You are allowed to own the stack.

AIOSnode is intentionally compatible with customer-controlled infrastructure. The goal is to help your technical people take more control, not block them from it.

Customer-hosted AI

Run approved models in infrastructure you control when appropriate. Provider choice should be replaceable rather than hard-wired into the property.

Hybrid deployment

Keep sensitive or core workloads under customer control while using selected external services where they provide value.

Customer-controlled credentials

Production credentials belong with the owner's operational custody after transfer. AIOSnode should not remain a required credential broker.

Direct authoritative sources

Where practical, the Node can read public authoritative policy or technical sources directly rather than depending on AIOSnode as a permanent middleman.

95% owner-operated is an acceptance requirement.

If ordinary staff cannot perform routine administration without us, that capability is not finished. Our ongoing role should be limited to optional upgrades, additions, support or serious product/infrastructure issues the owner chooses to involve us in.
